"...Wow. Were those precious oysters with the blue stripes great. They did not need any sauce, their liquor, like a cold wave on the north Pacific, was all one needed. Thirty-six were not enough.
We served the oysters first, ice cold and freshly shucked; then followed by a cassoulet, baugette, Stilton, port, and sliced pears/apples.
But the oysters were the star."
